BANGALORE - NANJANAGUD – MYSORE
On arrival at Bangalore airport/railway station meet our tour representative who will be there for your welcome and thereafter, we will drive to Mysore. En-route, we will stop at Nanjanagud to offer prayers in its ancient temple - Nanjundeshwara Temple. Afterwards, we will continue our drive to Mysore. On reaching, check in at the already booked hotel and take pleasure of a relaxing overnight stay.
Nanjanagud is popular for the ancient Nanjundeshwara Temple also called as Srikanteshwara Temple which is situated on the bank of Kapila River or Kabini River. It is also called as Varanas of the South. The word Nanjundeshwara means lord who drank poison to save the earth. Thus, the temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
MYSORE – DHARMASTHALA
In the morning after breakfast, we will check out from the hotel in Mysore and drive to Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala. On reaching, check in at the pre-booked hotel and rest for a while. Afterwards, leave for Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala, one of the significant temples of Karnataka state of India. Further, we will visit one of the major attractions of Dharmasthala i.e. Manjunathaswamy Temple to offer prayers to Lord Manjunatha Swamy (Shiva). Thereafter, we will visit Rathnagiri to witness the statue of Gommateshwara and Badinade (Annappa) Betta, and Sri Rama Kshetra located on the banks of Nethravathi river. Later, we will return back to the hotel and enjoy an overnight stay.
DHARMASTHALA - DHARESHWARA – GOKARNA
After breakfast in the morning, we will check out from the hotel in Dharmasthala and leave for Gokarna. Before proceeding to our next destination we will pay a visit to Kateel Temple to get the blessings of Goddess Durgaparameshwari. Afterwards, we will head to Udupi to visit the world famous Sri Krishna Temple and the famous nearby Chandramouleshwara Temple and Anantheshwara temple. After offering prayers at these temples, we will continue our drive to Gokarna. On the way, we will stop to visit Dhareshwara Temple, one of the Pancha Kshetras of Lord Shiva. Thereafter, we will drive straight to Gokarna. On reaching, check in at the already booked hotel and have a relaxing overnight.
GOKARNA - JOGFALLS – BANGALORE & DEPARTURE
On the last day of our tour, we will start our day a bit early in the morning and get ready to visit two popular temples of Gokarna - Tamra Gauri Temple and Mahabaleshwara Temple. After having Darshan in these two famous temples, we will proceed to Ganapathi Temple for Darshan of Lord Ganesha. Later, we will return back to the hotel to have breakfast and afterwards, check out to drive to Bangalore. On the way, we will stop to visit the well acknowledged Jogfalls, which is formed by the Sharavathi River. At Jogfall, water is falling from an altitude of 253 m (830 ft). It is India's second-highest forceful waterfall. After enjoying at Jogfall, we will continue our drive to Bangalore. On reaching, get a direct transfer to the airport/railway station to board flight or train for onward destination.
